I've been a long time customer of Renada's so I've seen how much she's grown as a stylist. I don't trust my hair with anyone else. She has a lot of hair knowledge as well as what products work best for your particular hair type. Who knew the shampoo and conditioner I had been using for my natural hair was actually damaging it. Renada got me on track with the right products!  I arrived at my  appointment last week and barely had time to sit down before she was ready for me. Talk about an on time appointment! She had my hair flowing in the wind after she was done. I volunteered at my daughter's school the next day and even got compliments from some of the kindergartners who told me "your hair is gorgeous!" I was floored these little kids even noticed!
I highly recommend Silk Hair Studio! You'll definitely walk out of the salon with a little pep in your step!

It has been years since I first was acquainted with the ladies at Silk Hair Studio,  I could not imagine where else I would go. Over the years, I've seen the salon grow and change for the better. They sell top of the line products and are very good at educating you about their use. They service all people and hair types so definitely give them a try. No one stylist is the same, but I've never seen anyone leave dissatisfied. And say that you were; They will sit you back down in the chair until you're happy.  :)

I just got my hair styled by Renada (literally 3 hours ago) & I love it! She was very patient with me by answering all of my weave/ style questions before I made the commitment to coming in & getting my hair done. I also did not have to wait long to get seated. I am very particular about my hair and I must say that she delivered! Also, I am the type who believes that a great stylist truly knows how to schedule their clients so that they are not waiting around in the salon all day. It is very hard being new to the city of Richmond and finding a stylist that you trust, who manages their time well, and who makes your hair look great! I will definitely be returning (as I have already made my appointment to get my hair done for my upcoming wedding)!

I've been here twice and both times it was fabulous.  The first time for a simple wash and press and the second time for the Brazilian Blow Out. Each time the staff has been very professional and considerate.  I would highly recommend this place for everything.  I'm definitely going to keep coming back for the Brazilian Blow Out.  And the prices are very reasonable and appointments are easy to obtain.

Silk Hair Studio has been my ONLY go-to hair salon for the last 6 years. My stylist Renada has been amazingly flexible and understanding throughout the years.  She NEVER "trims" or "cut" my hair beyond the needed amount and anyways provides me with the style I have requested.  Her Brazilian Blowout (product knowledge and techniques) expertise is immeasurable and very reassuring.

I cannot say enough about my stylist Renada at the shop (Silk Hair Design). She will go over and beyond to ensure that you are satisfied. I was unhappy with a weave hairstyle and the next day she re-did everything (remove hair, new sew-in, adjustments) What a gem!!! I highly recommend her or any of the stylist in the shop!!
